Sometimes it is fun to discover a project installed by one of our Dealers in Australia. All Shutters and Blinds, which sells all over the country, completed this clever job in a luxury home in sunny Queensland.
The homeowners stipulated low maintenance as a primary focus when making design decisions for this newly built home.
Much of the home’s classic wood features are unexpectedly made of aluminum, including the fence, pergola, plantation shutters, and gates. The shutters and gates were custom made from our Weatherwell range. The plantation shutters created a beautiful design detail beside the pool. They broke up the monotony of the concrete slab and promoted airflow from the portico on the other side. The shutters on the gables are decorative and won’t be susceptible to rot or ever require a repaint. The aluminum shutter gates are consistent with all the design elements and continue the plantation shutter aesthetic.
