At TWO, we are committed to growing our business economically while adhering to our moral code for responsible sustainability practices. Running our manufacturing facilities in an environmentally and socially responsible manner continues to be a top business objective for TWO Global. With manufacturing in three countries and growing distribution worldwide, we continue to look for ways to improve our sustainability practices.
Our wood shutter products have been manufactured in our Chinese facility for over ten years. With China continually enforcing improvement standards, we are proud to be ahead of the reform curve and on track to maintain our position as a sustainable manufacturing leader in our industry.
We have recently invested $1.5M in filtration and other environmental controls. All sanding and spray painting is done using water filtration and any output to the environment is done through industrial filtration. We also have the latest energy-efficient model of compressors, which are housed in sound-proofed areas.
Our aluminum shutters and motorized roller shades are manufactured in our facilities in Dallas and Austin, TX. These factories are committed to preserving resources and minimizing contributions to landfills. By reusing and recycling our products and 100% of our scrap aluminum, we sustainably conserve our planet’s resources.
All of our Highprofile painted shutters use a waterborne paint that has reduced VOC emissions and meets the US and European regulations governing VOC emissions. Our paint is less flammable than a traditional polyurethane paint, resulting in a big reduction in the disposal of hazardous waste.
TWO is no more than the people that make up our team, and therefore it is crucial that we continually strive to improve the welfare of each individual. We promote the safety, happiness, and well being of our employees.
In each of our corporate and manufacturing facilities, we ensure we go beyond what is required for Occupational Health and Safety laws. For us, it is not a law by which we must abide, but a human responsibility to our fellow worker.

In China, 100% of our employees are fully covered by workers’-compensation. We pay above-average wages, give longer holidays, and offer incentive schemes. This has resulted in a 95% worker return rate from the Chinese New Year. Nationally the average is 50-60%.
Every day our brands are enjoyed by thousands of people, so it is important that we ensure our products are safe to use. Our commitment to child safety was the basis of our decision not to offer chain or cord operated shades in the domestic market, and only provide a 100% cordless, fully motorized product for the home.
